About Me
Hello! I am Eleonora, a freelance marketing translator from German and English into Italian.
In 2019, after completing my master’s degree in Conference Interpreting in Milan, I moved to Berlin, where I started my career as an in-house translator. Since 2023 I’ve been collaborating on a freelance basis with direct and agency clients in the fields of tourism, luxury watches and lifestyle.
CPD (continuing professional development) is essential to me. I invest a lot of money and time in courses, books, and workshops in digital marketing, SEO, transcreation, copywriting, tourism translation, etc. and I try to keep up to date with the new trends in the industries I translate for.
I am based in Berlin, but I often spend prolonged periods in Italy, the United Kingdom (Bristol) and sometimes in Brittany, France. This lifestyle allows me to keep my native language skills at a top level and gives me a good grasp of the cultural nuances of my source languages, i.e. British English and German from Germany. Unfortunately, my French is pretty embarrassing…
